Abstract
Aluminijeve zlitine so zaradi nizke specifične gostote ključnega pomena v letalski in avtomobilski industriji. Za te izdelke je pomembna visoka trdota, ki jo lahko izboljšamo z izločevalnim utrjevanjem. Le-to je sestavljeno iz treh faz, in sicer topilno žarjenje, gašenje in umetno ali naravno staranje. V našem diplomskem delu je bila obravnavana aluminijeva zlitina 7075, katere glavni legirni element je cink (5,6–6,1%). Kemična sestava vključuje magnezij (2,1–2,5 %), baker (1,2–1,6 %) in skupaj manj kot 0,5 % silicija, železa, mangana, titana, kroma ter ostalih kovin. Preučili smo vpliv različnih medijev gašenja (voda in olje), različnih temperatur umetnega staranja (160, 140 in 120 °C) in različnih časov umetnega staranja na trdoto, prevodnost, mikrostrukturo ter korozijsko odpornost vzorcev.

Title:Influence of precipitation hardening of aluminium alloy 7075 on microstructure and corrosion properties
Abstract:
Aluminium alloys are crucial in the aerospace and automotive industries due to their low specific density. High hardness is important for these products, which can be improved by percipitation hardening. Percipitation hardening consists of three phases, solution treatment, quenching and artificial or natural aging. In our diploma work, the aluminium alloy 7075 was considered, whose main alloying element is zinc (5.6-6.1%). The chemical composition includes magnesium (2.1-2.5%), copper (1.2-1.6%) and a total of less than 0.5% of silicon, iron, manganese, titanium, chromium and other metals. The influence of different quenching media (water and oil), different temperatures of artificial aging (160, 140 and 120 °C) and different times of artificial aging on hardness, electrical conductivity, microstructure and corrosion resistance of samples were studied.
