It is important to anticipate possible defects of the product and their consequences in its early
development stages, if we do not detect this defect early enough, the product will only
become more expensive. Therefore, the goal of every company is to detect possible mistakes
at an early stage, most companies learn this from past projects and try to gain as much
experience from them. In the master's thesis we will focus on the implementation of
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
(FMEA), which is the corresponding APQP method. In all this, we must take care of a good
customary and diverse team, with which we can then make a good analysis of the product at
every stage of development. With the help of a tractor telescope, we did the APQP to the
prototype phase, and at the same time we did the FMEA of design. We then distributed
questionnaires among the candidates who were present at the FMEA and asked them about
possible mistakes that may occur at each stage. We found that with a diverse, larger team,
we can detect and think of a huge variety of product mistakes or improvements that an
individual candidate would never discover in time of development and thus increase the cost
of product development.
