In the beginning I share my personal experience that led to this research on animal emotions
and further to exploration of presentations of animal emotions in art history and my personal
artistic creations. Mainly I present my findings on how far science has come with answering
that age old question by sharing the results of scientific experiments with different species of
ani mal s , while later I delve into how different artist s have shown this in recent history, in the
renaissance, romantic, modern and contemporary art practices. Finally I relate that to my own
work and expand a bit upon the creative process behind it.
