Feeding livestock on farms requires a lot of work. If we want to keep the farm in step with the times and competition, we need to invest in the modernization of what already exist and in new machines or devices. There is a need for an automatic feeding process, as this results in higher crop productivity. On the ceiling rail is a trolley with ground fodder, which must be brought in a certain amount to the edge of the stern table. We have developed and designed a device that enables directed dropping of stern on both sides of the stern table. In doing so, it takes advantage of its good sliding properties. When testing the prototype, there was a jamming of the stern at the edges of the sliding surface. The last part of the diploma thesis describes in detail other findings and shortcomings observed during the production and testing of the prototype. In order to achieve the set goal, it is necessary to improve or to eliminate. The device will be able to perform its functions on farms on a daily basis, as development has taken place in the direction of simplicity and reliability of operation.
