We decided to develop the application to make it easier for auxiliary judges in
basketball. We wanted to give them access to all the data that is important
for the conduct of a basketball game in one place. The application should
also enable the storage of basic match data. In addition to what was written,
we also wanted to provide access to current FIBA rules for assistant referees.
We chose the Android Studio tool to develop the application, and we created
the buttons in the application using Adobe Photoshop. The application
accesses match data online, and all data stored by the application is written
to the SQLite database. We've added a PDF with FIBA rules for the current
basketball season. We also checked the opinions of test users, which can be
used for further development of the application.
