In the diploma thesis, we have developed a prototype of a project management
web application for small enterprises. We have analyzed the market
of project management applications to identify the most appropriate functionalities
for small businesses. We have also acquired the requirements of
the company for which this application was developed, adding them to those
obtained from the market analysis. The developed web application provides
the option to create new projects, divide projects into tasks, and assign them
to a suitable employee. Besides all of that, it can also track the time that
an employee needs to finish a specific task. It gives the company the power
to monitor employees’ activity and their occupancy. We also developed a
functionality that enables users to video call each other and add comments
into the comment section at each task.
