The theoretical introduction discusses the origin and consequences of the covid-19 epidemic, the life of users in ATC (adult training centres), a critical review of the formation and operation of adult training centres and the methods of social work that we use when working with users. In the thesis itself, I focused on exploring their world and life outside the adult training centres and using the method of personal planning of users to find out how their lives are going, what problems, hardships and feelings they encountered during the isolation and epidemic of covid-19. I wanted to show that users are not just users of the adult training centres service, but that they actively participate in the implementation of the process of working and living in the programme. The emphasis is on their right to choose, their desires, needs, clearly express their opinions and views; by doing so, I wanted to contribute to greater user autonomy, to reducing segregation and partial social exclusion of users.
