The diploma thesis deals with the computerization of the form for assessing the practical part of the driving test, which is carried out by the Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Slovenia. The purpose of this new application is simplifying the work of driver license examiners, eliminate paper administration and thus to follow the general trend of digitalisation of public administration. New electronic form was tested from March to October 2018. The key questions we tried to research are whether the introduction of the e-assessment form is possible in the current conditions and how the e-assessment form was accepted by users. With the help of the survey, we discovered that the new application did not meet the expectations of the users. They think it is not easy to use and it even complicates their job. We suggested improvements for the application, so the examiners would find it easier to use. Survey showed us that examiners think their training was deficient and insufficient. We analysed the e-assessment form and found that its main disadvantage is the acquisition and processing of data obtained with a GPS device. The test project was therefore stopped and the use of the application was banned by the Information Commissioner. We have provided solutions for regulating the legal status of obtaining, processing and storing personal data obtained with GPS tracking. We drew attention to some views on the safe use of the tablet during the test drive and suggested solutions.
