The operation of Pivovarna Laško dates back to 1825. In the master's thesis we follow the historical development of the brewery to the present day. In the initial years of operation, the owners changed extremely quickly. The owners were the Ulrich, Laricsh, Kukec families. Later, the brewery was merged together with Žalec into the United Breweries Žalec and Laški trg d.d. After the collapse of the merged brewery, they set up an inn brewery
In 1964, the brewery began to think about better recognition of their beer outside the town of Laško. The Beer Flowers event is established. The event takes place every year in July, for some time it also coincided with the municipal holiday. The Laško wind band and majorettes are also in great connection with the brewery. The band is celebrating 158 years of operation, and the majorette group 31.
