Abstract
Funkcionalno degradirana območja se pogosto povezuje z onesnaženostjo in zmanjšano kakovostjo okolja. Kljub temu v Sloveniji nimamo vzpostavljenega sistema za sistematično obravnavo okoljskih bremen in različnih oblik razvrednotenj, ki so pogosto prisotna na opuščenih območjih. Magistrsko delo prav zato v ospredje postavlja okoljski vidik obravnave funkcionalno degradiranih območij. V okviru pričujočega dela smo zasnovali model za določitev stopnje okoljske degradacije na izbranih funkcionalno degradiranih območjih. Uporabnost modela smo preverili na petnajstih izbranih območjih. Vsako od njih smo predhodno raziskali s pregledom literature in terenskim ogledom. Na podlagi zbranih podatkov smo nato izvedli preveritev modela in tako ocenili stopnjo okoljske degradacije za vsako od proučevanih območij. Glede na rezultate smo ocenili prednosti in šibkosti modela ter podali predloge za izboljšavo.

Title:
Developing a model for effective recognition of level of environmental degradation on selected types of functionally derelict areas
Abstract:
Functionally derelict areas are commonly connected with pollution and decreased environmental quality. Despite that Slovenia does not have established system for systematic proceeding of environmental burdens and different forms of environment depreciation in Slovenia. That is why this dissertation gives prominence to environmental aspect of proceeding functionally derelict areas. In the dissertation we designed a model for effective recognition of level of environmental degradation on selected functionally derelict areas. Usefulness of the model was tested based on 15 selected areas. We researched each of them through overview of literature and field work. Based on collected data we tested the model and evaluated levels of environmental degradation for each of selected functionally derelict areas. Based on results we evaluated advanteges and disadvantages of the model and gave suggestions for improvements.
