Abstract
Izvedli smo več reakcij med kobaltovim(II) bromidom in 2-(hidroksimetil)piridinom v množinskem razmerju 1 : 2. Pri tem smo uporabili različna topila, in sicer aceton ter sušen in nesušen acetonitril. Nastale so tri nove koordinacijske spojine, ki smo jih okarakterizirali z infrardečo spektroskopijo, termično ter elementno analizo in rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo. S pomočjo difrakcije na monokristalu smo določili kristalne strukture vseh treh novonastalih spojin.

Title:Reactions between cobalt(II) bromide and 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine
Abstract:
Several reactions between cobalt(II) bromide and 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine with molar ratio 1 : 2 were performed. Different solvents were used – acetone, dried and not dried acetonitrile. Three novel coordination compounds were obtained and characterized by means of infrared spectroscopy, thermal and elemental analysis, and X-ray powder diffraction. By use of single-crystal X-ray diffraction, the crystal structures of all three new compounds were determined.
