Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava opus češko-slovenskega skladatelja druge polovice 19. stoletja Antona Nedvěda. Nastal je s pomočjo pregledovanja vseh Nedvědovih glasbenih rokopisov in notnih tiskov, ohranjenih v Glasbeni zbirki Narodne in univerzitetne knjižnice v Ljubljani. Popisu je sledil korak, ki v delu ni neposredno viden – pregled opusa v širšem pogledu, njegova smiselna zvrstna razdelitev in selektivna, podrobna glasbena analiza posameznih del. Metodično-analitično delo navsezadnje zaokrožuje kompleksna kronološka, analitično-teoretična predstavitev Nedvědovega skladateljskega delovanja, ki s poudarkom posameznih pomembnejših zbirk in del predstavlja koherenten muzikološki uvid v njegov glasbeni opus.

Title:Anton Nedvěd's compositional opus
Abstract:
The master's thesis addresses the compositional opus of Anton Nedvěd, a Slovenian-Czech composer of the second half of the 19th century. As a versatile music composer, he spent most of his life in Ljubljana and left behind a valuable musical heritage to the city. The research process of the thesis was carried out gradually: from the systematic analysis of the opus and individual works to the theoretical wording and the presentation of Nedvěd’s compositional activity. The first step was creating a thematic catalogue of his works, which is at the same time the first authentic inventory of his legacy. The catalogue was created by reviewing all of Nedvěd's manuscripts and printed music preserved in the Music Collection of the National and University Library in Ljubljana (NUK). The next step was one that is not directly noticeable, namely an overview of the opus in a broader sense, a division according to genre and a selective and detailed musical analysis of individual works. The methodological-analytical work was rounded off by a complex chronological, analytical-theoretical presentation of Nedvěd’s compositional work, which, by highlighting individual important collections and works, represents a coherent musicological insight into his musical opus.

Keywords:slovenian composer, 19th century, bibliography, a catalogue inventory of musical works, musical analysis.
