Abstract
V diplomskem delu sem prikazal varjenje komponent hidravličnega cilindra. Izvedli smo računsko in vizualno kontrolo ter penetrantski in natezni preizkus.

Title:Influence of technological parameters and gas protection on the welding quality of hydraulic cylinder components
Abstract:
The thesis presents welding of hydraulic cylinder components. The MIG/MAG welding was done using different welding parameters and different shielding gases were used. We described in detail the MAG welding process, chemical and physical properties of used materials and shielding gases. Measurements of the angularity of the rod end to the hard chrome plated bars and the roundness of the hole were measured on a coordinate measuring machine. We performed computational and visual inspections, as well as penetrant and tensile tests. Macro contours of the welds were produced from the welded joints for microscopic examination. In our case, it turned out that with this weld geometry, the rod end, which is standard, fails sooner than the weld. We observed changes in the weld microstructure during manual and mechanised welding.
