Razgradnja nekaterih mikro-onesnažil v vodi, obogateni z ultrafinimi mehurčki ozona

Znano je, da se v vodo sprošča velike količine mikro-onesnažil, kot so farmacevtiki, fitofarmacevtska sredstva, proizvodi za osebno higieno, barvila in druge umetno sintetizirane molekule. Tekom diplomskega dela sem naredila literaturni pregled o mikro-onesnažilih, prisotnih v odpadnih vodah, in njihovi razgradnji s pomočjo ultra finih mehurčkov ozona. Pri eksperimentalnem delu sem razgrajevala organsko barvilo Plasmocorinth B in metilensko modrilo, ki sem ju raztopila v vodovodni in deionizirani vodi. Njuno razgradnjo sem spremljala spektrofotometrično v območju med 200 in 800 nm. Naredila sem umeritvene premice Plasmocorintha B in metilensko modrega v vodovodni in deionizirani vodi, na osnovi katerih lahko iz posnetih absorpcijskih spektrov določimo koncentracijo mikro-onesnažila v raztopini z neznano koncentracijo. Iz dobljenih rezultatov pred in po triurnem osvetljevanju z UV svetlobo sem lahko potrdila njuno neznatno spontano in foto-razgradnjo v raztopini. Napredni oksidacijski procesi za čiščenje odpadnih voda so vse bolj pomembni za zagotavljanje učinkovitega odstranjevanja težje biološko razgradljivih snovi. Eden izmed bolj učinkovitih načinov je čiščenje z uporabo ozona. Za poglavitni del raziskav sem tako pripravila raztopini Plasmocorintha B in metilensko modrega v vodi, obogateni z ultrafinimi mehurčki ozona, in spremljala, kako njihov dodatek vpliva na njuno razgradnjo. Iz rezultatov je razvidno, da sta mikro-onesnažili obstojni pod UV svetlobo, kar pomeni, da sta tudi v okolju težko razgradljivi. Dodatek ultrafinih mehurčkov ozona k vodovodni vodi nekoliko pripomore k učinkovitejši razgradnji obeh mikro-onesnažil.

Naslov:Decomposition of some micro-pollutants in water enriched with ultra-fine ozone bubbles

It is well known that large quantities of micropollutants such as pharmaceuticals, phytopharmaceuticals, personal care products, dyes and other man-made molecules enter the water. In this diploma work, a literature review on micropollutants in wastewater and their degradation using ultrafine ozone bubbles is given. In the experiment, the organic dye Plasmocorinth B and methylene blue, both dissolved in tap water and deionized water, were degraded. Their decomposition was monitored spectrophotometrically in the range between 200 and 800 nm. The corresponding calibration curves were obtained. From these curves, the unknown concentration of these two micropollutants can be determined based on the absorption spectrum. To confirm the ease of spontaneous decomposition and photodecomposition of Plasmocorinth B and methylene blue in solution, the results before and after illumination with UV light for three hours were used. Advanced oxidation methods for wastewater purification are becoming increasingly important to ensure efficient removal of substances that are more resistant to biodegradation. One of the more efficient methods is purification with ozone. Therefore, for the main part of the research, solutions of Plasmocorinth B and methylene blue in water enriched with ultrafine ozone bubbles were prepared. The influence of ozone bubbles on their decomposition was monitored. The results show that both micropollutants are UV light resistant, which means that they are also difficult to degrade in the environment. The addition of ultrafine ozone bubbles to tap water helps to make their degradation somewhat more efficient.
