Abstract
Namen naloge je bil raziskati učinkovitost lovilnih krožnikov in križno prestreznih pasti za monitoring divjih čebel in jih med seboj primerjati. Križno prestrezne pasti so na trgu relativno nove, zato smo jih primerjali z do sedaj standardno metodo lovilnih krožnikov. Preverili smo vpliv barve in okoliške vegetacije na lovljenje s pastmi. Pasti smo preizkusili v letu 2018 in sicer na dveh lokacijah, v Ljubljani in na Polici pri Grosupljem.

Title:Usability of different traps for wild bees monitoring : magistrski študij - 2. stopnja
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis was to analyze the efficiency of pan traps and vane traps in the monitoring of wild bee populations. Vane traps appeared on the market relatively recently, so their efficiency was compared to pan traps, which continue to serve as a standard trapping method. Furthermore, we were interested in the effects of trap colouration and nearby vegetation on trap efficency. In 2018, bees were collected from two locations: Ljubljana and Polica pri Grosuplju. At each location, five sampling sites were set up and examined, twice monthly from May to September. Traps were left in the field for 48 hours before collection. In total, 414 bees were caught. The blue vane trap was found to be most attractive to most bumblebees (91 %), while other wild bee species were caught predominately in pan traps, especially yellow ones. The results of this study are vital to the development of local wild bee monitoring in Slovenia.
