This thesis tries to present the first settling of human ancestors in Asia and with all the obtained information answers the question, whether the first hominins that inhabited Asia were members of the Homo erectus species. The initial chapters present in detail the route of the first hominin migrations to the Asian continent and the factors that contributed to the dispersals of hominins and their abilities to adapt to the new environments.
