The thesis presents how the Covid-19 epidemic affected student work. Student work became a very important and large part of employment in Slovenia, but when the Covid-19 broke out, it began to suffer due to measures taken to prevent the spread of the virus. The purpose of the thesis is to obtain and to study data, different views and factors of the student work problem during Covid-19 epidemic with different methods and sufficient literature and compare the impact of the problem on students at the Faculty of Public Administration and students attending other faculties. The aim of this thesis is to determine how the Covid-19 epidemic affected student work in Slovenia, especially the students at the Faculty of Public Administration, and to answer the research questions with the purpose of confirming or rejecting the hypotheses. With these findings I will be able to give a realistic picture of student work during the epidemic. With the help of various statistical analyses, it was found that high school and college student had faced many difficulties in student work during the epidemic. The results therefore show a large decline in student work, although respondents are willing to work during this epidemic. During the epidemic, more students at the Faculty of Public Administration lost their jobs permanently than high school and college students. They were also found to believe that it would be easier to find student work after the end of the epidemic. Based on the findings, more attention needs to be paid to this issue, to prevent such problems in the future.
