This thesis was created as a part of an international research »COVID-19: Vulnerability Assessments and Community Involvement«, led by the SoNAR-Global (Global Social Sciences Network for Infectious Threats and Antimicrobial Resistance) consortium. The research was conducted among young adults in Pomurje. The author wants to present some of the hardships, with which interlocutors were facing during the epidemic of coronavirus disease. The thesis begins with a presentation of the methodology, the research environment and the interlocutors. This is followed by a chapter on perception of young people as vulnerable individuals, who were initially forgotten during the epidemic. The distress of the interlocutors is narrowed down to three parts: the mental problems, the measures and the attitude of young people towards the disease itself, the vaccination and the government. The findings are presented through professional texts, media texts and the results of the interviews.
