Military logistics is one of the most important factors that decide victory and defeat on the battlefield. This was especially evident during World War II, which is considered to be the greatest conflict in human history and where logistics was crucial. This war was very different from previous conflicts because it spread over a larger geographical area than the wars before it which also means changes in the logistical supply of units and different problems that this brings. My research focused on logistical support in the Ardennes Offensive where I compared the logistics of the warring parties, namely the logistics of the Allies (the USA and the UK) and Nazi Germany. In doing so, I focused on comparing the logistics before, during, and after the conflict, and how it affected the course of the battle. I also tried to discover the causes of the problems in logistics supply and point out the factors that influenced it. I helped myself with a historical analysis of the selected sources and the descriptive method that helped me answer the set hypothesis.
