Abstract
Uvod: Zobne luske se uporabljajo predvsem v sprednjem delu zobnega loka za rešitev estetskih težav. Materiali in tehnologija CAD/CAM so se v zadnjem desetletju zelo razvili. Tehnologija CAD/CAM omogoča izdelavo tankih lusk iz industrijskih blokov, narejenih iz najnovejših materialov, kot je litijeva disilikatna keramika. Preparacija je minimalna in proces izdelave od intraoralnega optičnega branja do končnega izdelka je hiter. Z vidika biokompatibilnosti, mehanskih in bioloških zahtev se luske odlično odrežejo in so dolgo obstojne. Proces izdelave, prikazan z videopredstavitvijo, je lažje razumeti kot snov, opisano samo z besedami, saj proces izdelave, opremljen s sliko, govorom in kretnjami, učeči lažje dojemajo. Videopredstavitev se je izkazala za odlično učno sredstvo pri podajanju snovi študentom in dijakom. Pri izdelavi videa je treba zajeti bistvene podatke ter proces prikazati nazorno in po korakih. Z današnjo tehnologijo je video mogoče posneti in zmontirati kar na domačem računalniku s programi, ki omogočajo profesionalno montažo. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je z videoposnetkom prestaviti proces izdelave litijevih disilikatnih zobnih lusk s tehnologijo CAD/CAM. Metode dela: Teoretični del temelji na iskanju in pregledu strokovne literature, kot so članki v znanstvenih in strokovnih knjigah v tujem in slovenskem jeziku. Praktični del oz. izdelek smo izdelali v zobnem laboratoriju s tehnologijo CAD/CAM. Postopek smo posneli in videopredstavitev zmontirali s programom za videomontažo. Rezultati: Podatke, zajete z intraoralnim bralnikom, smo v obliki datotek STL prenesli na računalnik in želeno obliko lusk oblikovali v programu za modeliranje. Luske smo v obliki datoteke prenesli v rezkalno napravo, s katero smo luske rezkali. Modele smo tridimenzionalno natisnili. Luske smo na modelih preverili, obdelali, spolirali in na koncu še glazirali. Celoten proces smo posneli s fotoaparatom in videe prenesli na računalnik, v program za videomontažo, kjer smo videe razvrstili, jih zmontirali v želeni posnetek in jim dodali zvočno datoteko z opisom postopkov po korakih. Končni rezultat tega dela je videpredstavitev, dolga 11 minut in 26 sekund. Razprava in sklep: Pri tehnologiji CAD/CAM je med samo izdelavo manj napak, zato je to odlična metoda za odpravljanje estetskih težav. Izdelava lusk je natančna in hitra. Z estetskega vidika se luske, izdelane iz steklokeramike, lahko primerjajo z videzom naravnega zoba. Steklokeramika zagotavlja visoko estetskost, translucentnost in dobre mehanske lastnosti. Videopredstavitev lahko kakovostno dopolnjuje poučevanje. S pravilno predstavljenimi informacijami lahko učečim pomagamo tako do boljšega razumevanja postopkov izdelave kakor do predstavitve izdelka. Video ne more nadomestiti poučevanja, zagotavlja pa dodano vrednost pri predstavitvi tematike.

Title:
Production of veneers with CAD/CAM technology, supported with video presentation : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: Veneers are often used in the frontal region for esthetic purposes. Materials and CAD/CAM technology are developing at a very fast pace in the last 10 years. Very thin veneers can be produced for esthetic purposes made from industrial blocks out of new materials like lithium disilicate ceramics. Preparation is minimal and the process from intraoral scanning to the final outcome is fast. If we look at the biocompatibility, mechanic and biological needs the veneers show great success. A videopresentation in which we show how something is being made is easier to understand than when it's shown words only. With the help of image, speech and movements the process of learning can be better and it has been proven to increase learning and understanding of a lecture. When making a videopresentation, we must include all the important information and show the tutorial as informative and organized in step by step process for better learning experience. With todays technology we can film a video and edit it in different programs at home. Purpose: The purpose is to make a videopresentation to show how lithium disilicate veneers are made with CAD/CAM technology. Methods: Theoretical part is based on research and review of professional literature like scientific articles and books in foreign and Slovenian languages. The practical part is the product that was made in the laboratory using CAD/CAM technology. The procedure was recorded and a video presentation was edited with the help of an editing program. Results: Using an intraoral scanner, we formatted an STL file and made veneers in the shape that is desired. Veneers were transferred as a file to a milling machine where the veneers were cut. We printed the models with a threedimensionsional printer. We checked the veneers on the models and proceed with polishing and glazing. We recorded the whole process with a camera and transferred the videos on a computer to a video editing program, where we sorted the videos, edited them into the desired clips and added an audio file, where we described the procedures step by step. Discussion and conclusion: Only minor errors are made with CAD/CAM technology and it is a great method for solving aesthetic problems. Veneers made with glass-ceramics can compare to esthetic of natural teeth. Glass-ceramics provide high aesthetic, translucence and good mechanical properties. Video presentation can make better quality lectures and learning, With properly presented information students can learn to improve the understanding of procedures of making a product through video presentation. Video presentation can’t replace lectures, but it can add value to representing learning material.
