Thesis titled Conservation-restoration of decorative baroque sculpture from the park of Dornava mansion, deals with the problem of stone deterioration on the outside, by delving into the damages on the decorative stone vase from the same park. In the thesis, therefore, great emphasis is placed on assessing the condition of the vase and on written, graphic and also photographic documentation. With the help of my co-mentor at The Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia at Restoration Center in Ljubljana, at the Department of Stone and Stucco, I connected the theoretical part with the practical part. I did conservation-restoration treatments on the vase, spending most of the time on cleaning. I finished my thesis with suggestions for further interventions on the vase.
