Abstract
Tema diplomske naloge je pregled literature na področju mikroinjekcijskega brizganja mikro in nano struktur s poudarkom na mikroiglah v zdravstvu. Cilj raziskave je pregledati celotno literaturo na področju izdelave mikroigel od leta 2018 do leta 2021. Nato izvleči bistvo ter ga predstaviti v nalogi. Metodologija pri izdelavi raziskave je pregledovanje literature, večinoma člankov na spletnih znanstvenih brskalnikih. Nato opravljanje selekcije ustreznih člankov in z njimi opravljanje raziskave. Namen raziskave je pregled stanja, kje smo s tehnologijo izdelave mikroigel in ali je sploh mogoče brizgati tako majhne oblike s polimeri, da so še dovolj trdne in ne napokajo. Drugi cilj je ugotoviti, ali je mogoče najti cenovno dostopno metodo za masovno izdelavo mikroigel, in poiskati cenovno dostopen način, s katerim lahko proizvajamo na masovnem nivoju. Rezultati raziskave so bili pozitivni; ugotovili smo, da se lahko z mikro injekcijskim brizganjem znatno skrajša čas izdelave več igel naenkrat in doseže zadovoljivo kvaliteto.

Title:Micro-injection moulding of micro/nano features
Abstract:
The subject of my academic paper is to conduct a literature review in the category of micro injection moulding with a focus on microneedles for medical purposes. The aim of the research is to review all the literature on the topic of microneedles from 2018 to 2021. Then read all the articles from these years and use all the important information. The methodology of the research is to sift through articles on the topic and summarise the most important and meaningful information. I searched for articles in scientific search engines. The aim of the research is to find out where we are in terms of microneedle manufacturing technology. And whether it is possible to produce such small particles and still be mechanically functional. The second major goal is to determine if we can produce such microneedles at a price that is acceptable for mass production. And if so, to find a suitable production process. The results of the research have been positive, as we have found that we can produce large quantities of microneedles in a reasonable time at a reasonable price using the injection moulding process.
