Abstract
Delo obravnava strategiji grobe obdelave adaptivno rezkanje in obdelava z visoko podajalno hitrostjo.

Title:
Comparison of maching times of Adaptive Milling and High-Feed Milling
Abstract:
The following work deals with rough milling strategies adaptive milling and high-feed milling. The principles by which both strategies provide higher material removal rates when compared to convencional milling are presented. This work focuses on the comparison of the machining times between both strategies. Tool paths of both strategies on five different geometries with varying surface dimensions and depths were simulated in SolidCAM. The simulated times were compared with the real ones by machining one of the geometries on a CNC milling machine. We found that the strategies were comparable in terms of machining times and we explained the influential parameters such as depth, dimensions and the shape of the machined geometry.
