In the master thesis we analyze different geoid models and evaluate them by quality. In the analysis we include global models EGM2008, XGM2019e, GOCO06s, EIGEN-6S4, regional models EGG2008, EGG2015, national model SLOAMG_2000 and height reference surface SLO_VRP2016/Koper. We compare interpolated values of geoid heights from different models with geoid heights retrieved from GNSS/leveling control points data set. The data set we use consists of more than 1000 points measured in the new Slovenian height reference system SVS2010. Results of the analysis are presented numerically and graphically in the form of charts and maps. We further analyze the height reference surface SLO_VRP2016/Koper in terms of residuals correlation to points' normal heights. In the end we also research the differences due to different solid Earth tides models and their effect on heights in the SVS2010 and EVRF2019 height systems. In the master thesis we also describe theoretical background about Earth's gravity field, normal gravity field, height systems, geoid and different geoid models.
