Abstract
S pomočjo gumijastih balonov smo izdelali prototip preproste pipete na osnovi mehanske nestabilnosti sferičnih membran. Na izdelanemu sistemu smo opravljali meritve in s pomočjo napisanega programa poskusili predvideti kaj se zgodi pri povezovanju večih balonov. Pipetirali smo volumne balonov, kjer pri začetnih eksperimentih nismo dobili dobrih rezultatov, to pa se je v nadaljevanju z dograditvijo in uporabo koncepta dozirnika spremenilo. Z uporabo bolj profesionalne opreme bi se lahko naš koncept preproste pipete z večjo natančnostjo uporabljal tudi v vsakdanjem življenju in industrijskem odmerjanju tekočin.

Title:
Pipette based on mechanical instabillity of spherical membranes
Abstract:
Using rubber balloons, we made a prototype of a simple pipette based on the mechanical instability of spherical membranes. We performed measurements on the fabricated system and developed computer code to predict what would happen if multiple balloons were connected. We pipetted the volumes of the balloons, initially without significant success, but that changed when we upgraded and used the new dispensing method. By using more professional equipment, our simple and robust pipette concept be used in everyday life and industrial liquid dispensing with greater precision.
