Abstract
Nato so predstavljeni sodobni primeri čipke v interjerju in nakitu dveh avtoric; Laure Mardsen in Mance Ahlin.

Title:Jewelry collection Pulmonis made out of bobbin lace
Abstract:
This paper, titled Pulmonis Collection of Jewellery from Bobbin Lace, is based on COVID-19 and its effect on our lungs upon infection. Our goal was to make five different pieces of jewellery from bobbin lace as part of a collection, the aim of which is to present traditional bobbin lace with a hint of modernity. This paper comprises a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part briefly outlines the historical development of jewellery and bobbin lace. In addition, it describes the historical development of the Idrija lace. The paper goes on to present modern examples of bobbin lace in the field of interior design and jewellery of two artists, Laura Mardsen and Manca Ahlin. In the end, materials used to make bobbin lace are presented, along with different lacemaking methods. The empirical part presents the jewellery collection and its development. The process starts with an inspiration; the paper studies lungs, related diseases and their effect on lungs. This serves as basis for the first sketches, which later develop into a pattern for bobbin lace. Colours and materials used in the process are described. The paper presents the first lacemaking attempts, which were necessary to select appropriate materials and lacemaking methods. In the end, the collection is described and presented with the help of visual materials.
