The purpose of the diploma thesis was to present the use of 3D technologies in the conceptual structuring of a building, in which 3D renders and a physical model of a building was made. In the theoretical part, the terms work scope of 3D technologies, parametricism as an architectural style, 3D graphics and 3D printing were defined. In the experimental part, the concept of the building was constructed, modelled, textured, rendered, prepared for execution and 3D printed. Through analysis, it was determined which programs were needed for the specific tasks in the thesis. The concept was created with a tool that allowed the setting of parameters in Autodesk Maya software environment. With the mentioned program, the final conceptual model of the building was created and based on that the surroundings were adapted accordingly. The models that needed texturing were UV mapped and transferred to the program Substance Painter, where they were assigned the correct materials which were then connected to the corresponding models in Maya. 3D renders were made by setting the correct lighting, cameras and render settings. The retouching process was done in Adobe Photoshop. The model was prepared and 3D printed. The model was thoroughly processed after the printing. The final product of the diploma thesis is a 3D modelled, textured, rendered object and a 3D printed model, that represents the use of 3D technologies in the conceptual structuring of a building.
