Abstract
Pričujoča magistrska naloga zajema izvedbo študije izvedljivosti uporabe piezouporovnega senzorja za merjenje navora. Razvita sta bila dva načina integracije senzorja, s katerima se je poenostavil postopek pritrjevanja, toda tudi zmanjšala merilna občutljivost. Zasnovan in izdelan je bil eksperimentalni sistem za statično merjenje navora do 7,85 N m. Na njem smo piezouporovni senzor primerjali z merilnim lističem s stališča občutljivosti na mehanske deformacije. Kot ključna zunanja vpliva na delovanje piezouporovnega merilnika sta bila identificirana vpadla svetloba in nečistoče na površini polprevodniškega elementa. Izpostavljen je bil pojav lezenja signala in izmerjene so bile temperaturne karakteristike senzorja. Rezultati te naloge predstavljajo prvi korak v razvoju in karakterizaciji piezouporovnega senzorja za merjenje navora.

Title:Feasibility study of using a piezoresistive sensor for measuring static torque
Abstract:
The master’s thesis covers a feasibility study on measuring torque with a piezoresistive sensor. Its attachment to the surface was studied using two sensor integrations, which also reduced measurement sensitivity. An experimental system for static torque measurements up to 7,85 N m was designed, implemented and used to compare sensitivity to mechanical deformations between the piezoresistive sensor and a metal strain gauge. Stray light and impurities on the semiconductor element surface have been identified as key external influences on the operation of the piezoresitive sensor. The creep phenomenon was examined and the temperature characteristics of the sensor was measured. The results of this thesis represent the first step in the development and characterization of a piezoresistive sensor for measuring torque.
