Abstract
Vrtinčne cevi so uveljavljena rešitev za točkovno hlajenje orodij, strojev ali raznih vrtljivih delov. Zaradi kompleksnosti pojavov, ki se vršijo v teh ceveh, je njihovo delovanje običajno potrebno popisati eksperimentalno. V tem delu je zato opisana zasnova merilne proge, namenjene izvajanju parametričnih analiz delovanja vrtinčnih cevi. V prvi polovici dela je predstavljeno teoretično ozadje delovanja vrtinčnih cevi in njene obratovalne lastnosti. V drugi polovici dela je predstavljena zasnova merilne proge, ki je služila za eksperimentalno verifikacijo delovanja vrtinčne cevi z uporabo različnih generatorjev zračnih vrtincev. Pri tem smo opazovali vpliv velikosti vstopnega tlaka in odprtosti zapornega ventila na učinkovitost naprave. Na koncu dela so predstavljeni rezultati eksperimentov.

Title:Design of an experimental setup for parametric analysis of vortex tube operation
Abstract:
Vortex tubes are an established solution for spot cooling of tools, machines or various rotating parts. Due to the complexity of the phenomena occurring in these tubes, their operation usually needs to be described experimentally. Therefore, this part describes the design of a measuring setup intended for performing parametric analyses of vortex tube operation. The first half of the paper presents the theoretical background of vortex tube operation and its operating properties. In the second half of the work, the design of the measuring setup is presented, which served for the experimental verification of the operation of the vortex tube using various air vortex generators. The influence of the size of the inlet pressure and the opening of the shut-off valve on the device's efficiency was observed. At the end of the work, the results of the experiments are presented.
