Opredelitev izhodišč za digitalizacijo cerkvenih matičnih knjig

Cerkvene matične knjige predstavljajo pomemben del zgodovine Slovenije, vendar je dostop do teh podatkov trenutno zelo omejen in zapleten. Glavni rezultat diplomskega dela je uspešno razvit prototip, ki obsega komponente spletne aplikacije za vnos zapisov matičnih knjig s predlagano strukturo podatkov. V začetnem delu smo opravili analizo trenutne organizacije cerkvenih matičnih knjig in obstoječih rešitev, razvitih za digitalizacijo matičnih knjig. Na podlagi analize smo razvili koncept podatkovnega modela. Po razvoju komponent smo izvedli testiranje na konkretnih podatkih iz obstoječih matičnih knjig.

• Title: Defining the basis of parish registers digitalization

Abstract

Parish registers represent an important part of Slovenia's history, but access to this information is currently very limited and complex. The main result of the thesis is the successfully developed prototype, which includes components of the web application, that allows users to enter parish registers with the proposed data structure. In the initial part of the thesis, we performed an analysis of the current organization of parish registers and existing solutions developed for digitization of the registers. Based on the analysis, we developed the concept of a data model. After the development of the components, we performed testing on concrete data from existing parish registers.
