In this thesis we deal with the problem of generating complex responsive email messages. In order to reach the target audience, it is important that an email is properly formatted and displayed. The situation in the field of generating responsive emails is not ideal, since the emails are often non-responsive or do not display properly. We have evaluated the currently available systems that enable generation and distribution of emails, that would satisfy demands of generating complex responsive emails. We discovered, that based on the current infrastructure and systems at our disposal the best solution is to implement a custom solution using available technologies for generating responsive html emails. We have identified the most appropriate technologies for that custom solution and implemented separate solutions and with testing tools we performed efficiency tests and compatibility tests for the most popular clients. The best performing solution was developed into a complete system, that periodically generates and distributes the Jutranjik newsletter. The results of this thesis show the benefits and drawbacks of the current available systems, frameworks and support for viewing and generating complex responsive html emails. One result is also a custom system, which is best suited for the generation of the Jutranjik newsletter.
