Oblikovanje modne kolekcije Vulkan

Diplomsko delo opisuje razvoj in izvedbo kolekcije oblačil, imenovane Vulkan, ki je nastala v okviru spremljevalnega projekta Katedre za oblikovanje tekstilij in oblačil ob razstavi Koptske tkanine iz zbirk Narodnega muzeja leta 2019. V okviru projekta so bile predstavljene sodobne interpretacije koptskih tekstilij in oblačil. V teoretičnem delu je opisana zgodovina Koptov in njihov glavni oblačilni kos - tunika. Poglobil sem se v zgodovino tunike in opisal njene značilnosti. Navedel sem tudi oblikovalce, ki v svojih oblačilnih podobah tudi izhajajo iz tunike. V eksperimentalnem delu je prikazan razvoj kolekcije oblačil in detajlov, izrezanih na laserskem izrezovalniku. Rezultat diplomskega dela je sodobna modna kolekcija z izhodiščem v koptski tuniki in likovnem izrazu vulkanskih izbruhov.

• Title: Fashion collection Volcanic Impact

Abstract

The thesis describes the development and implementation of a clothing collection called Volcanic Impact, which was created as part of the accompanying project of the Department of Textile and Clothing Design at the exhibition Coptic Fabric from the National Museum in 2019. The project presented contemporary interpretations of Coptic textiles and clothing. The theoretical part describes the history of the Copts and their main clothing item - the tunic. I delved into the history of the tunic and described its features. I also mentioned the designers, who also included the tunic in their clothing collections. The experimental part shows the development of a collection of clothes and details cut on a laser cutter. The result of the diploma work is a modern fashion collection with a starting point in a Coptic tunic and the artistic expression of volcanic eruptions.
