Abstract
V magistrski nalogi nas je zanimalo, katere oblike novih tehnologij za iskanje v ruševinah so dovolj razvite za implementacijo v slovenski sistem zaščite in reševanja, specifično, ki so primerne za uporabo v Mobilni enoti reševalnih psov. V teoretičnem delu smo preučili potresno ogroženost Republike Slovenije, delovanje kinoloških enot v sistemu civilne zaščite in vrste novih tehnologij. Na koncu je bil podan sklep o tehnologiji, ki bi za Republiko Slovenijo bila smiselna. Praktični del magistrske naloge je zajemal dva preizkusa na terenu, kjer smo ocenili vpliv brezpilotnega zrakoplova na delo reševalnih parov pri iskanju oseb v ruševinah. Pri izvedbi je pomagal pilot zrakoplova, sodnica za delo reševalnih psov in štirje reševalni pari. Rezultat obeh delov je, da so trenutno edina tehnologija brezpilotni zrakoplovi z rotacijskimi krili, saj opravljajo nalogo iskanja, ne motijo psov pri procesu iskanja, so hitro aplikativni in ne inhibirajo usposabljanja reševalnih parov, prav tako so vodniki naklonjeni vpeljavi, čeprav z zadržkom. Celotna strokovna ekipa se je strinjala, da je tehnologija bolj uporabna za iskanje v naravi, torej v območnih enotah skupin za iskanje pogrešanih.

Title:Usage of new technologies in search and rescue – case study of Mobile canine search and rescue unit : magistrsko delo
Abstract:
In the Master's thesis we were interested in what types of new technologies for rubble search and rescue are developed enough to be implemented into Slovenia's civil protection system, specifically, which are suitable for use in Mobile canine search and rescue unit. In the theoretical part we overviewed Slovenia's earthquake vulnerability, canine units in civil protection, and types of new technologies. A conclusion was drawn regarding technologies, that would be compatible with the Republic of Slovenia. The practical part consisted of two field tests where we determined the effect of unmanned aerial vehicle on the work of search teams during rubble search. The test was conducted with the aid of a drone pilot, canine search and rescue judge, and four canine search and rescue teams. The result of both parts is that currently only unmanned aerial vehicles with rotation wings suitable, since they execute the task of searching, do not hinder the dogs whilst searching, is quickly applicable, do not inhibit preparation of search teams, and the handlers are welcoming to the idea, although with some hesitancy. The professional team unanimously agreed, the technology is more useful for wilderness searches, meaning with regional missing persons units.
