Wooden transport packaging is a fairly simple product for providing safety of transported goods. Measurement tolerances are given in milimeters and according to that, so is the manufacturing process properly adjusted. Even though the product is very simple, it is still exposed to all marketing and technical requirements, which can be described using 4P principal: Product, Price, Place and Promotion. The thesis is indirectly focused on price of the product. With the company's intention of marking its place on the market, all aspects of competitiveness are being taken care of, especially expense durability. The thesis is therefore focused on racionalization of some work operations with intention of saving on manufacturing times. First we analyze present state of manufacturing process based on theoretical basics and we continue with precise time analysis of each manufacturing operation. We discover the manufacturing operation on which we can easily reduce manufacturing times. Therefore we design a positioning system which can be applied in similar working procedures. Working hand-in-hand with a new manufacturing process structure, it would increase product's competitiveness.
