Glavna predmeta raziskovanja v diplomski nalogi sta skladiščenje in skladiščni procesi. Ker je skladiščenje zelo obširna tema, je bilo za lažje pojasnjevanje in združevanja bistva teorije z dejanskimi postopki v praksi kot primer predstavljeno proizvodno podjetje Farmtech d. o. o. ter njihov način skladiščenja. Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena teorija skladiščenja in skladiščnih procesov, v empiričnem pa je predstavljen potek skladiščenja v izbranem podjetju. Podjetje Farmtech d. o. o. je v letu 2019 optimiziralo proces skladiščenja, zato je opisano tudi stanje pred in po optimizaciji ter potek optimizacije po korakih. Ker so zaposleni ključnega pomena za uspeh, je v diplomsko nalogo vključeno tudi mnenje zaposlenih, ki je bilo pridobljeno s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. Namen raziskave mnenja je bil ugotoviti, kako so zaposleni sprejeli spremembe in ali se jim nov sistem skladiščenja v primerjavi s prejšnjim zdi učinkovitejši.

• Title: OPTIMISATION OF WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS IN COMPANY FARMTECH D.O.O.

Abstract

In this diploma thesis everything is focused on the research of two subjects: warehousing and warehouse operations. Because warehousing is such extensive topic, the production company Farmtech d. o. o. and their ways were used as an example to explain and combine warehouse operations in theory with warehouse operations in practice. Diploma thesis is therefore combining theory and empirical part. In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis the theory of warehousing and warehouse operations is described and in empirical part it’s all about how the warehouse and the process of warehousing looks like in the company that was chosen as an example. The company went through the process of optimisation of warehouse operations in 2019 and from this reason the process of their optimisation is also included and described in steps. Because employees are the key to success, their opinion about the optimisation was also included. The survey with six easy questions was represented to employees in the warehouse and with the results of the survey we tried to figure out what they think about the new ways compared to the way they used to do things.
