Abstract
Mikofenolat mofetil je polsintezna zdravilna učinkovina, ki se uporablja za zaviranje imunskega odziva pri presaditvi organov (ledvica, srce, jetra). Za potrebe farmacevtske industrije se uporabljajo različne nečistote kot analitski standardi. V diplomskem delu smo se ukvarjali s sintezo ene izmed nečistot mikofenolat mofetila in sicer oksalatom morfolinoetiletrom mikofenolat mofetilom, ki smo ga v dveh korakih sintetizirali po postopku iz literature. Sintezo smo izvedli tudi na večji skali, kjer smo dobili boljše izkoristke. Eksperimentalni del smo zaključili s hidrolizo sintetizirane spojine pod kislimi (HCl) in bazičnimi (NaOH, LiOH) pogoji.

Title:Synthesis of oxalate morpholinoethylether mycophenolate mophetile and study of its hydrolisis kinetics in acidic and alkaline conditions
Abstract:
Mycophenolate mofetile is half-synthetic active substance used for suppression of immune response in organ transplantation (kidney, heart, liver). For the purpose of analytic control, specific impurities as analytical standards are needed. In the diploma thesis we dealt with the synthesis of one of the impurities of mycophenolate mofetil, namely oxalate morpholinoethyl ether mycophenolate mofetil, which was synthesized in two steps according to the procedure from the literature. The synthesis was also performed on a larger scale, where we obtained higher yields of the product. The experimental part was completed by hydrolysis of the synthesized compound under acidic (HCl) and basic (NaOH, LiOH) conditions.
