The thesis presents epistemological thought of Ludwik Fleck. Because this is his first presentation in Slovene, I first deal with his life and reception of his work. After biographical presentation the focus is on his theory of thought styles and thought collectives, and their implications on his project of sociology of science. The next chapters are dealing with questions that were important for forming of his attitude towards science, especially his activity in medicine and importance of medicinal thinking on his epistemological thought. These problems are also reflecting in his grasping with the question of understanding reality. His attitude towards reality is the starting point for opening the questions about scientific research, truth, observation and importance of language in science. At the end of dissertation I try to argument why we cannot say that Fleck is relativist.
