Abstract
One of the biggest challenges for the use of fuel cell vehicles on a large scale is manufacturing a safe, reasonably priced and reliable hydrogen pressure vessel that meets the installation space and all functional and high volume production requirements for the automotive industry. Different topics related to the linerless conformable hydrogen pressure vessels, such as hydrogen containment, mechanics and manufacturing processes of pressure vessels are discussed in this thesis. Furthermore, various concepts that meet the defined requirements are described and evaluated. For the chosen concept prototype that serves as a process demonstrator was manufactured. The thesis is wrapped up with the discussion and the outlook for future work. A concept for a competitive pressure vessel was developed within this thesis. This novel pressure vessel fits into the prismatic installation space, has high lightweight potential, high volumetric efficiency, good hydrogen containment properties, modular construction, uses mostly proven manufacturing processes and offers load transfer between the reinforcements and the filament wound structure.

Title:Razvoj proizvodnega postopka za tlačne posode tipa V za shranjevanje vodika v avtomobilih
Abstract:
Eden največjih izzivov za uporabo vozil na gorivne celice v velikem obsegu je izdelava varne, cenovno dosegljive in zanesljive vodikove tlačne posode, ki se prilagaja montažnemu prostoru ter izpolnjuje vse funkcionale in veliko serijske proizvodne zahteve za avtomobilsko industrijo. V tej nalogi so obravnavane različne teme, povezane z vodikovimi tlačnimi posodami brez jedra, kot so zajezitev odtoka vodika iz tlačne posode ter mehanika in postopki izdelave tlačnih posod. Poleg tega so opisani in ocenjeni različni koncepti, ki ustrezajo definiranim zahtevam. Za izbrani koncept je bil izdelan prototip, ki služi kot demonstrator proizvodnega procesa. Magistrsko delo je zaključeno z razpravo in predlogi za nadaljnje delo. V okviru te magistrske naloge je razvit koncept konkurenčne in lahke tlačne posode, ki se prilega prizmatičnemu vgradnemu prostoru, ima visoko volumetrično učinkovitost, dobre lastnosti zadrževanja vodika, modularno konstrukcijo, uporablja večinoma preizkušene proizvodne procese in ponuja prenos obremenitve med ojačitvami in tlačno posodo.
