In the bachelor’s thesis, the production of an automated system for watering raised beds is presented.
In the initial part of the bachelor’s thesis, the individual components that we used for the production of the product are described and presented in more detail. The Arduino development board, the microcontroller, the ESP module contained in the development board, the valves, the submersible pump, the relay module, the water level sensor, the soil moisture sensor, the time module, and the LCD interface are presented.
In the continuation of the bachelor’s thesis, the process of the production of the product is presented in more detail. First, the physical part of making the product is presented. It describes how the elements are interconnected. Below, the software part of the product is presented. It describes the program for the microcontroller, the program for the ESP module, and the functions used. In the last part of the thesis, the operation of the entire program is described and the final product is presented.
The conclusion of the thesis summarizes some of the ascertainments at the end of product production.
