The diploma work consists of a conceptual design, planning and implementation of a cookbook entitled »Njamasté«, highlighting a healthy diet as the best long-term investment for life. The diploma thesis is composed of two parts. The first part is focused on the general production and theoretical properties of a book. Including typical components and basic graphic design guidelines as well as print and print finishing. The second part of the diploma thesis is focused on the specific process of designing our cookbook »Njamasté« from conceptual design to print. It is centered around the process of design, which was carried out by following the established art theory guidelines. It also describes methods of work, procedures and materials that were selected for our final graphic product. The purpose of the diploma work was to create a cookbook within a specific time and financial framework, to meet aesthetic criteria as well as achieve functionality and appropriate design style regarding its content. The result of the diploma work is a printed cookbook that meets our expectations of usability, efficiency and aesthetic appearance.
