Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava ergonomsko analizo delovnega mesta prodajalke tekstila. Delovno mesto sem najprej opisala in analizirala.

Title:Ergonomic evaluation of a shop assistant's working conditions
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the ergonomic workplace analysis of a shop assistant in the clothing store. Firstly, their workplace is described and analysed. Secondly, we carry out the assessment of physical exertion or workload that shop assistants are subject to in their workplace. Our discoveries were that shop assistant’s work is very dynamic, which is further on also confirmed by OWAS method. Moreover, visual acuity, gaze angle and the advised work area height are calculated. We have ascertained that adaptations of the work area heights are necessary. After calculating the metabolic rate, we classified the shop assistant’s work as easy. And finally, we examine the effect of the work uniform on the thermal comfort of the worker in the context of heat stress. The aim of this thesis is to study the workplace from the perspective of physical exertion the work requires. Based on the observed calculated workloads and the comparison with the permissible values, we suggested some improvements and/or ergonomic measures. The proposed measures would result in the increased satisfaction and productivity of employees.
