Estetska prezentacija slike Marija dobrega srca Antona Cebeja iz Frančiškanskega samostana v Kamniku

Diplomska naloga obravnava konserviranje in restavriranje poznobaročne slike Marija dobrega srca, slikarja Antona Cebeja iz Frančiškanskega samostana v Kamniku. Slika se trenutno nahaja v Narodni galeriji v Ljubljani v konservatorsko-restavratorski obravnavi, saj bo uvrščena na razstavo. V tem delu bom opisala konservatorsko-restavratorske postopke, ki sem jih izvedla. V začetnem delu se ukvarjam s splošnimi aspekti časa nastanka dela v luči zgodovinskih in teoloških okoliščin. Opisana je ikonografija slike na platnu. Pred realizacijo celovitega konservatorsko-restavratorskega posega se ukvarjam z razvojem estetike v stroki in razglabljanji strokovnjakov, povezanih s pristopom h konserviranju-restavriranju umetniških del. Konkretizacija teme je izpeljana v četrtem segmentu, ki se nanaša na klasičen konservatorski pristop, s poudarkom na izvedenih postopkih. Nadaljni potek del je predstavljen ob diagnostiki stanja pred posegom in realizaciji vseh sedanjih intervencij na sliki Marija dobrega srca. Na sliki so tudi v preteklosti opravljeni konservatorsko-restavratorski posegi, stanje starih retuš je bilo slabo. Doprinos k izgledu in dojemanju umetnine pomeni predvsem izvedba barvnega dopolnjevanja z novejšimi pristopi ob uporabi barv Gamblin.

• Title: Esthetic presentation of Anton Cebej's painting Mary of the Good Heart from Franciscan Monastery in Kamnik

Abstract

The graduation thesis is about the conservation and restoration of the late Baroque painting Marija dobrega srca by the painter Anton Cebej from the Franciscan Friary in Kamnik. The painting is currently located at the National Gallery in Ljubljana due to restoration before an announced exhibition. In this paper I shall describe the treatments of conservation and restoration which I have performed on the painting Marija dobrega srca. In the first part of the thesis I shall deal with the general characteristics of the time the painting originates from through historical and theological aspects. The iconography of the painting on canvas is described. Before the realization of the conservational-restorative intervention I shall tackle aesthetic development within the field and the debates of experts on the approach to conservation and restoration of works of art. Concretization is achieved in the fourth segment which refers to the classical conservational approach with an emphasis on reports on the treatments. Further treatments will be thoroughly described with diagnosing the original state and the realization of all of my interventions performed on the painting Marija dobrega srca.
