The thesis presents geodetic measurements in quarries. It presents the measurement of levels with the intention of assessing the calcite and limestone reserves at the Calcit Stahovica quarry. Geodetic works for building a road and for setting up a completed testing ground are presented. The main topic of the thesis was setting up and measurement of the completed testing ground for planning of the quarry expansion. The completed testing ground was measured at an area that is currently not exploited. We made an analysis of measurement quality and the necessary reduction. We equalised the measurements and obtained the most possible coordinates of testing ground points, which will present a basis for planning of levels at the new quarry area. Based on the geodetic measurement results, suggestions for further exploitation and expansion of the quarry will be made.
