In my Graduation Thesis, I explored the employment problems of Social work students after Graduating through the perspective of students who attended that faculty. I was mainly interested in the amount of knowledge the students got during education and if they realized realized how the work looks like in practice and what they need to do after graduation. I was also interested in how much experience they had then as the first jobseekers and if they had any employment problems as young people. However, I was also interested in the social question, which was related to income during their studies and whether if they were financially dependent on their parents. In the first part of the thesis, I presented a theoretical framework on the education of young people and their way of life and I presented the employment of young people and all the obstacles they need to face to. I also presented the theory of transition models, active employment policy and the labor market. In these cond part of the thesis, I presented the results I obtained during the research. In total, I conducted seven interviews with social work graduates. The results show that social work diplomats have problems to find the right employment due to lack of work experience, youth, the impact of employers, due to gender, education and lack of self-confidence. Also, social work diplomants at the faculty lacked more concrete information on internships, professional exams and job search. Most social work graduates find employment within a year, but are considering retraining as they are not yet in the profession they would like.
