Abstract
Sem diplomirana socialna delavka, večino svojih delovnih izkušenj pa sem pridobila v vrtcu, zaposlena kot vzgojiteljica in pomočnica vzgojiteljice. Ta povezava ter stiki s preobremenjenimi vzgojiteljicami je razlog, da sem raziskovala sindrom izgorelosti v vrtcu. Teoretični del sem razdelila na tri pomembna poglavja. Zanimali so me vrtec kot institucija in njegove osnovne funkcije ter pomemben proces socializacije, ki poteka v njem. Posvetila sem se svetovalnemu delu v vrtcu, kakšne vloge prevzame svetovalna delavka ter po katerih načelih deluje. Pomembna mi je bila povezava med svetovalno delavko in vzgojiteljico ter kako lahko doktrina socialnega dela pomaga svetovalnim delavkam. Za mojo raziskavo pa je tudi pomembna tema izgorelosti, kakšni so vzroki in simptomi, kako jo preprečiti ter nudenje pomoči. V empiričnem delu sem raziskovala dve področji. S kvantitativno analizo sem raziskala področje dela svetovalne delavke v vrtcu. Koliko časa ji vzamejo določena področja dela in katere so poglavitne delovne naloge svetovalne delavke? S pomočjo intervjujev pa sem kvalitativno raziskala izkušnje obremenjenosti in izgorelosti pri vzgojiteljicah oziroma pomočnicah vzgojiteljic v vrtcih. Rezultati, pridobljeni s to raziskavo, dajejo delni uvid v potrebe vprašanih vzgojiteljic in pomočnic vzgojiteljic ob izkušnji izgorelosti ter morebitno pomoč, ki bi jo lahko ponujal vrtec ali zunanje institucije. Ker so v raziskavi večinoma sodelovale ženske, v nalogi uporabljam žensko glagolsko in samostalniško obliko (vzgojiteljice, svetovalne delavke itd.), vendar je pri teh kadar koli mogoča zamenjava za moški spol. Prav tako skozi nalogo večkrat omenjam vzgojiteljice, kjer so prav tako upoštevane tudi pomočnice vzgojiteljic.

Title:Burnout syndrome among kindergarten educators
Abstract:
I´m a graduate social worker, I gained most of my work experience in kindergarten, employed as an educator and assistant educator. This connection and contacts with overworked educators are the reason I have done a research on the burnout syndrome in kindergarten. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. I am interested in the kindergarten as an institution, its basic functions and the importance of socialization that takes place in it. I focus on counseling work in the kindergarten, the roles at counselor takes on and the principles one follows. I explore the connection between the counselor and education and how the doctrine of social work is helpful for the counselors. In addition to that, I research the topic of burnout, namely, the causes, the symptoms, the prevention and help. In the empirical part of the thesis, I explore two areas. I use quantitative analysis for the data gathered, in the field of kindergarten counseling. How much time do certain areas of work take and what are the main work tasks of a counselor? I use interviews with educators and assistant educators in kindergartens. The results obtained from this research provide an insight into the needs of educators and assistant educators in the research sample regarding their experience of burnout as well as any help that can, if needed be provided by the kindergarten or external institutions.
