Abstract
V prispevku predstavljamo raziskavo, katere namen je ugotoviti, kako vzgojiteljice in vzgojitelji načrtujejo dejavnosti na področju jezika v vrtcu in s tem razvijajo sporazumevalno zmožnost predšolskih otrok. Zanimalo nas je, koliko pri načrtovanju jezikovnih dejavnosti uporabljajo sodobna didaktična izhodišča in podporne strategije, ki še posebej poudarjajo participacijo in aktivnost otrok. Ugotavljamo namreč, da je pomembno, da vzgojitelj uzavesti svojo vlogo v procesu načrtovanja jezika za otroka, saj z izvajanjem ustrezno načrtovanih jezikovnih dejavnosti in s svojim kulturnim kapitalom (Bourdieu: 1986) neposredno vpliva na razvoj otrokove sporazumevalne zmožnosti.

Abstract:
This paper presents research aimed at determining how pre-school teachers analyse their language activities planning in kindergarten with regard to the development of the communicative ability of preschool children. The aim was to find out to what extent teachers are applying modern didactic principles and support strategies when planning language activities, especially with regard to the participation and activity of children. It emerged that it is important for the pre-school teachers to be aware of their role in the process of language planning as they directly influence the development of the child's communication skills by using both properly planned language activities and their own cultural capital (Bourdieu: 1986).
