The main aim of my master thesis was to explore the role of young woman in rural enironment. In the theoretical part of thesis I describe the changes of family in time, how te researching of family forms has evolved, especially I directed on division of labor in family, the role of woman and man in family, how child raising impacted on creating those roles and how is the situation of young women on labour market. In second part I present my research. It contains division of labor in family, causes of current division of labor, the role of young woman in rural environment, and to check, how young women coordinate work, family and care for themselves.
