Abstract
Pri zasnovi prenosnikov moči s polimernimi zobniki se pogosto pojavi problem pomanjkanja podatkov materiala, potrebnih za izračun zdržljivosti zobnikov. Podatke se lahko pridobi s preizkušanjem zobnikov in diskov na namenskih napravah. V nalogi smo opravili pregled obstoječih priporočil, standardov in naprav s tega področja. Na podlagi liste zahtev smo predlagali koncepte za novo napravo in izbrali najprimernejšega. Sledil je razvoj preizkuševališča in trdnostno vrednotenje ključnih delov. Predstavljenih je bilo nekaj komentarjev izdelave in uporabe nove naprave ter opisane možne nadgradnje.

Title:Development of a polymer gear testing device
Abstract:
When designing power transmission systems with the use of polymer gears, a lack of material data needed for the calculation of durability often arises. The data can be attained by performing tests on gears and discs with the use of purpose-made devices. In the thesis, we reviewed the existing guidelines, standards, and devices from this field. Based on our list of requirements, we suggested various concepts for a new device and chose the most appropriate one. This was followed by the development of a new test rig and a strength analysis of its key components. Comments on the manufacturing process and the future usage of the new device were presented. Finally, potential further upgrades of the device were described.
