Abstract
Pesto je eden od ključnih sestavnih delov enosmerne zaganjalne sklopke. V podjetju bo prišlo do zamenjave tehnologije izdelave notranjega ozobja pesta zaganjalne sklopke. Do sedaj se je pesto kovalo, notranje ozobje pa je bilo naknadno izdelano z odrezovanjem. V prihodnosti bo tehnologijo odrezovanja v celoti zamenjalo kovanje. Zaradi omejitev pri kovanju je bilo treba pesto na novo konstruirati in preveriti njegovo trdnost. Problema smo se lotili z izvedbo numerične simulacije, v kateri smo upoštevali proces cementiranja in mehansko obremenitev, do katere pride ob zagonu zaganjalnika. V poglavju rezultatov smo najprej analizirali napetostno stanje po cementiranju ter nato še po cementiranju in zagonu. Glede na analizirane rezultate napetosti je nato sledil izbor kritičnih mest na pestih. Za izbrani kritični mesti smo z uporabo napetostnega pristopa določili dobo trajanja tako starega kot novega pesta. Ugotovili smo, da je bilo novo pesto dobro in premišljeno konstruirano, saj se z vidika trdnosti v primerjavi s starim pestom bolje odziva na dane obremenitve. Doba trajanja novega pesta je daljša od starega, tako za prvo kot tudi za drugo kritično mesto.

Title:Structural analysis of the starter clutch sleeve
Abstract:
The sleeve (also referred to as “the body”) is one of the key components of the one way overruning starter clutch. The company will replace the manufacturing technology for internal gear of the starter clutch sleeve. So far, the sleeve has been forged and the internal gear subsequently fabricated by cutting. In the future, cutting technology will be completely replaced by forging. Due to the limitations of forging, the sleeve had to be redesigned and its strength verified. We solved the problem by performing a numerical simulation in which we took into account the carburizing process as well as the mechanical load that occurs when the starter is started. In the results section, we first analysed the stress state after carburization and than after carburization followed by starting of the starter. Based on the analysed stress results, we made a selection of critical locations on the sleeves. For the selected critical locations we used the stress approach to determine the fatigue life of the old and the new sleeves. We found the new sleeve to be well and thoughtfully constructed, considering that in terms of strength it responds better to applicable loads than the old one. The fatigue life of the new sleeve is longer than that of the old one at both critical locations.
