Abstract
Cilj diplomske naloge je bila izvedba karakterizacije tuljave. Z rezultati meritev gostote magnetnega pretoka tuljave (kasneje magnetnega polja tuljave), bi dobili informacije, katere materiale še lahko magnetimo (ob poznavanju lastnosti materiala). Tuljava se uporablja za magnetenje trakov, ki se uporabljajo v kompletu z magnetnimi dajalniki, ki dajejo podatke o poziciji oziroma zasuku neke osi, ali pa podatek o linearnem pomiku. Z tuljavo na traku ustvarjamo magnetne pole severne ali južne orientacije. Te pole bere magnetni dajalnik, in tako določa pozicijo na kateri se nahaja dani merjenec. Poli morajo biti čim bolj pravilno namagneteni in pravilno zamaknjeni. Nalogo smo začeli s postavitvijo testnega mesta. Morali smo izbrati primerno merilno opremo za izvedbo tega projekta. Kot merilni senzor za merjenje magnetnega polja tuljave, smo izbrali razvojno ploščico s Hallovim elementom (kasneje senzor). Kasneje smo senzor prilagodili tako, da je kar najbolje služil pri meritvah. Senzor na izhodu vrača napetost med 0 in 3,3 V, iz dobljene napetosti pa smo izračunali magnetno polje tuljave. Končna ugotovitev so rezultati meritev magnetnega polje tuljave, izmerjenega glede na spremembe po vseh treh oseh (X, Y in Z) in pri različnih nastavitvah oklopov, kateri služijo za usmerjanje magnetnega polja. Končna ugotovitev meritev je, da z merjeno tuljavo lahko z zelo usmerjenim magnetnim poljem dosežemo gostoto magnetnega pretoka na mestu magnetenja do 600 mT.

Title:Magnetic flux density measurement of a coil with a magnetic camera
Abstract:
The aim of thesis was to perform the characterization of the coil. The results, that we got when measuring the magnetic field density of the coil (later the magnetic field of the coil), would provide information regarding other materials that can also be magnetized (knowing the properties of the material). The coil is used to magnetize the strips which are utilized in conjunction with magnetic encoders to provide information on the position or rotation of axes, or to provide information on linear displacement. The coil on the tape creates magnetic poles with north or south orientation. The poles are read by a magnetic encoder, which determines the given subjects position. It is very important that the poles are properly magnetized and shifted. To begin with the task, a test site had to be set up. Firstly, basic measuring instrumentation to carry out this project, had to be chosen. As a measuring sensor for measuring the magnetic field of the coil, a development board with a Hall element (later a sensor) was chosen. Later the sensor was adjusted, so that it served our measurements as best as possible. The sensor returns a voltage between 0 and 3.3 V at the output, and the magnetic field of the coil from the obtained voltage was calculated. Final findings are the results of the coil magnetic field measurements, that were measured considering the changes along all three axes (X, Y and Z) and in different shields settings, whose purpose is to direct the magnetic field. To conclude, we discovered that we can achieve highly directed magnetic field up to 600 mT using the measured coil.
